Accent Your Positive - Delete Your Negative (Donna Karan)

I took a quote on negativity from the BrainQuote site ... I was feeling the negative energy surrounding me so I tried to find a way around it .... there is no way around it, you have to go through it ...and I have learned that I can only focus on the positive around me to build it. Negativity is such a harsh thing to feel ...so I had to find a way to defeat it! :)

(I don't really know if anyone reads these, or my blog - just thought I would explain why I chose this quote) :)

After HOW many months of NO Art Journaling ... I finally had the urge to do one! And boy! After watching Teesha Moore's Vidz on You Tube! I felt like I COULD do THIS again! Her tutorials are SO easy and INSPIRING!!!

Anywho ... here are my photos!
This is a 1st time trying collage ... please leave comments and let me know what you think!

This is something I have to do ... I always find myself looking to the past to determine what my future should be ... it is time I just do what I need to do with NO barriers .... let the past go and move on ....

After doing this journal entry ... I must say, I need panpastels, sharpie paint markers and more paints! LOL!

SMASH! Journal Entry & Tools I used

Here is another entry I did ....for this entry, I wrote a letter to my younger self :)
Quite an interesting task in itself - what exactly does ONE say to oneself? hahah!

First of all, here is my work area .... the place I go to "think" and "Smash!" lol

 An entry of the letter to myself ... I used my nickname (seeing that it is a letter to my younger self).....

I used rub ons that I had laying around in my craft area and wrote my nickname myself ......

A close up of my writing .... I apparently had a LOT to tell myself! hahaha!

This page I used for quick snaps/notes to myself .... to let myself know that there are the BEST things YET to come! My 7 children .... my hunny (Charles) ... my teaching .... my life in general is going well now!

I used a dymo labeler for my title ..... i like the way it adds that special touch to my entry ....
